Daniels is coming off a record-breaking senior season in which he knocked down 124 3-pointers, the highest single season total in school history and the third highest in Atlantic 10 history. He finished with 251 treys in his career, which ranks second-most in program history.

Sharp-shooter who is coming off a record-setting junior season...Coach Smart calls him the best shooter he’s ever coached...Goes by the nickname, “Buzz”

AS A JUNIOR (2011-12): Played in all of the Rams 36 games, receiving the starting nod in 20 of those games...Was one of three Rams to average double figures in scoring (10.0 ppg)...Set a VCU record with 94 three-pointers...Scored in double-figures in 20 games. He scored more than 15 points in 11 games...Finished the season shooting 38 percent (94-of-247) from behind the arc, the highest percentage on the team...Hit five 3-pointers in a game seven times...Finished with an 84-percent (43-of-51) mark from the charity stripe, tops on the team.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Saw action in 27 of the Rams’ 40 games as a sophomore, including one start...He missed 11 games after he suffered a broken foot, during his first career start against UNC Wilmington...Set a then-career high with 12 points and four 3-pointers against VMI on Dec. 8, 2010...In the four games prior to his injury, he averaged nearly seven points per game on 49-percent shooting and hit eight 3-pointers...Returned from his broken foot, and played a limited role in the Rams’ run to the Final Four. Hit a 3-pointer in the Round of 32 against Purdue.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10): Played behind a deep stable of guards and continued to progress. Saw minutes and shooting percentage increase throughout the season...Knocked down multiple 3-pointers on four different occasions (1/2 vs. UNC Wilmington, 1/27 vs. Towson, 3/16 at George Washington, and 3/24 vs. Boston)...Ten of his 15 three-pointers and 12 of his 18 field goals came in the comforts of the Siegel Center...Set a then-career high of nine points against Towson.
