In coaching staff moves related to Cheaney’s departure, the Pacers announced that Head Video Coordinator Isaac Yacob will be promoted to Player Development Coach. Yacob joined the Pacers prior to the start of the 2022-23 season after spending three years on the Sacramento Kings staff.
Additionally, Martin Tombe has been named the team’s new Head Video Coordinator. Tombe, a former player from UC San Diego, was a member of the Pacers’ Team Assistant Program, an initiative created two years ago designed to foster professional growth, provide tangible experience, and create a pathway for advancement to those starting their coaching careers.
Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
