Pacers Sports & Entertainment has announced the members of the 2006-07 Indiana Pacemates dance team. The Pacemates are the official dance team of the National Basketball Association's Indiana Pacers and perform at every Pacers home game.
Veteran members returning and their hometowns are: Michelle Bowyer (Columbia City, Ind.); Nikki Green (Indianapolis); Kirston Hiller (Marion, Ind.); Amanda Kunda (Aberdeen, NJ/Hawley, Pa.); Melanie Potesta (Indianapolis); Mallori Walker (Joliet, Ill.); and Darcy Woods (Indianapolis).
The newest members to this year's squad and their hometowns are: Angela Beltchenko (Libertyville, Ill.); Tiffani Brown (Indianapolis); Ciarra Carter (Whiteland, Ind.); Allison Harris (Greenwood); Meredith Lindgren (Greentown, Ind.); Jarin Pelley (Speedway); Angela Sparrow (Ann Arbor, Mich./Fort Wayne, Ind.); Tessa Sutton (Henderson, Ky.) and Natalie Wesley (Little Rock, Ark).
Stacy Austin is in her sixth year as the Pacemates' choreographer and coordinator. Originally from Fort Wayne, Austin was a nine-year member of the Pacemates before taking over as choreographer/coordinator for both the Pacemates and Indiana Fever Inferno.
