Georges Niang Signs with Pacers

The Indiana Pacers announced Monday they have signed second-round draft pick Georges Niang to a contract. Niang was the 50th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Niang, a 6-8, 230-pound forward, played collegiately at Iowa State, where he averaged 20.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game his senior year.

Niang recently played for the Pacers’ summer league team in Orlando where in five games he averaged 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
