Great News for Pacers Fans – Emmis/The Fan Adds FM Signal

INDIANAPOLIS – There is great news for Indiana Pacers fans. Effective immediately, broadcast partner Emmis Communications has added an additional FM signal - 93.5 - to its arsenal which will bolster the coverage of Pacers games this season. All but one Pacers game in 2015-16 will be broadcast on 93.5 FM and 1070 AM. The only game that won't – Cleveland on Nov. 8, will be on 107.5 FM.

"We are so happy for our fans," said Pacers Sports & Entertainment President Rick Fuson. "It's a tribute to the hard work of our friends at Emmis; Jeff Smulyan, Charlie Morgan and their staff for getting this done. Not only is it remarkable gift for Pacers fans but in reality it's a great deal for all sports fans in Central Indiana."

The Pacers begin their 49th season on Wednesday night at Toronto. Home opener for the Blue and Gold will be Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse when Memphis comes to town with three native Hoosiers on the roster – Mike Conley (Lawrence North), Zach Randolph (Marion) and Courtney Lee (Pike). On Saturday, the Pacers will host a special Halloween game at 7:00 p.m., when former Butler and Brownsburg great Gordon Hayward and Utah come to Indianapolis for their only visit of the season. Plenty of Halloween activities are planned for kids with Pacers mascot Boomer.
