Nuggets Pre-Draft Workout Preview: June 16

The Denver Nuggets will host the second pre-draft workout of the week on Tuesday, June 16. Tuesday’s lineup will feature six NBA Draft prospects.

TJ McConnell, the 6’1” point guard from Arizona, was named to the All-PAC 12 First Team last season. He averaged 10.4 points and 6.3 assists in 30.5 minutes per game.

Another point guard will join the workout: 6’0” Keifer Sykes from Wisconsin-Green Bay. Originally from Chicago, he was named the Horizon League Player of the Year twice.

Kelly Oubre, a 6’7” forward from the University of Kansas, has the look of an NBA wing, according to scouts. Oubre was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team last year.

At 6’8”, Greg Whittington will be the other forward at the workout. He averaged 12.1 points and 35.2 minutes in the 13 games he played in last season.

Kendall Gray is a 6’10” forward/center from Delaware State. Gray set a DSU single-season record with 81 blocks and was a 2014-15 MEAC Player of the Year candidate.

Finishing out Tuesday’s prospects is Myles Turner, the 6'11" center from the University of Texas. He averaged 10.1 points in 22.2 minutes last season.
