Hoops For Troops

Uniformed service men and women will join the Denver Nuggets’ wives and families for a collection of non-perishable goods prior to the Cavs vs. Nuggets game at Pepsi Center on Friday, November 7. The donation items will be delivered to deployed military personnel in support of NBA Hoops for Troops Week.

Ideal donation items would include snack packs, crackers, candies, cookies, deodorant (male and female), socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and baby wipes.

Starting at 7 p.m., collection bins will be located outside of the entrances to Pepsi Center accompanied by military personnel and the Nuggets’ wives and families. Kroenke Sports Charities will be providing collection jars for cash for funds to be used to purchase additional items as needed.

“Kroenke Sports Charities is proud to support NBA Hoops For Troops week. We are happy to have this special opportunity to work with the Nuggets’ families in an effort to help our men and women in uniform,” said Nuggets Community Ambassador Mark Randall.
