Zion Williamson (hamstring) to miss 2023 All-Star Game

The former No. 1 overall pick will be sidelined for New Orleans' next 3 games and the 2023 All-Star Game on Feb. 19.

Zion Williamson has been sidelined since Jan. 2 with a hamstring injury.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will remain sidelined with a right hamstring injury for the next three games and the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, according to coach Willie Green.

Williamson is expected to be reevaluated after the All-Star break.

The 22-year-old forward, who was selected as an All-Star starter, has averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists over 29 games this season. Williamson has been sidelined since Jan. 2 due to the injury.

The Pelicans (29-27) are currently 8th in the West standings.
