After agreeing to a buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Muhammad intends to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks once he clears waivers, per Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania.
Shabazz Muhammad has agreed to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks once he clears waivers, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Muhammad agreed to a contract buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday and will be eligible for the playoffs. The Bucks have had interest in Muhammad for the past year and received his commitment Thursday night.
Milwaukee will release guard Sean Kilpatrick to create roster space to sign Muhammad, league sources said.
The 25-year-old played 32 games this season for Minnesota and averaged 3.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.
