NBA Twitter reacts to 75th season schedule release

The schedule is set for 2021-22 โ€” the NBA's 75th Anniversary season โ€” and the classic matchups caught the eyes of many.

LeBron James and the Lakers will be featured on national television 42 times during the 2021-22 season (subject to change).

Throughout the 2021-22 season, the league will feature marquee matchups that celebrate the teams, players, coaches and moments that have defined 75 years of NBA basketball.

The season tips off Oct. 19 with an intriguing doubleheader on TNT. The first game features Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets against the reigning NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks. Then, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors square off against LeBron James and the revamped Los Angeles Lakers.

Beyond Opening Night, there are dozens of can’t-miss matchups to look forward during the NBA’s 75th season.
