The sudden death of Miami Marlins ace pitcher Jose Fernandez in a boating accident on Sept. 25 left many in both the Major League Baseball community and the Miami community in a state of shock.
As the city, the teams fans and others around the game mourn Fernandez, the Miami Heat paid tribute to the departed pitcher by donning special pregame t-shirt shirts last night that paid tribute to him.
