The 2023-24 Memphis Grizzlies City Edition uniform represents the pure simple joy of growing up playing basketball on local courts dreaming of representing your hometown team.
The sleek black uniform displays their secondary “MEM” logo proudly on the chest. It also maintains the team’s iconic asymmetry in the white striping down the side of the uniform. This connects with the Mississippi River anchoring the city and state on one side, but also the unique and unconventional cultural history of Memphis and the Grizzlies.
The stylized logo across the chest integrates the Grizzlies’ neon-inspired inline and the city’s airport code into the design.
The uniform introduces a clean, simplified font in gold, maintaining equity in the color scheme built off past City Edition uniforms. The bear icon is shown on the left side of the shorts in order to represent the team’s first seasons in Vancouver and Memphis.
