The 2023-24 Golden State Warriors City Edition uniform celebrates the anniversary of the historic cable cars.
The cable cars are a landmark that distinguishes San Francisco and serves as a symbol of resilience, with its 150 year history, surviving the 1906 Earthquake.
The uniform features a wordmark font inspired by route signs for cable cars. The shape of the wordmark pulls inspiration from the trolley route up and down the San Francisco hills. The steel cables inspire the texture on the waistband of the shorts and the joining trolley tracks inspire the swooping taping on the sides of the jersey and shorts.
This symbol of San Francisco has been featured in a variety of different classic songs. Now, it’s featured in Dubs jersey designs.
