Devin Booker plays only four minutes in Sunday’s game against the Nuggets, exiting early due to injury.
After scoring 58 points in his last game prior to the Suns’ Christmas Day matchup with the Nuggets, Devin Booker’s encore has been cut short.
Booker, who missed the team’s previous three games due to groin soreness, headed to the locker room early in the first quarter with a left groin injury, and was ruled out before the quarter finished.

The All-NBA guard totaled two points in 4:20, though he entered the game averaging 28 on the season. Phoenix managed to regroup and took the game to overtime but the Nuggets won, 128-125.
“I didn’t even see it,” said Suns coach Monty Williams. “They came to me when I was walking the sidelines and they said, ‘Man, we’ve got to get Book.’ I looked up and he had that look on his face and I knew something had happened.”
Booker has made 1,045 3-pointers in his career. He needs seven more to pass Steve Nash for No. 1 on the franchise list.
