The Brooklyn Nets have collaborated with renowned Brooklyn-based artist and Nets fan KAWS to design a uniform that fuses core elements of the Nets brand with some of the most notable components of KAWS’ work from his early days as a graffiti artist to his now-globally recognized paintings and sculptures.
KAWS uses his graphic style across the entire uniform with the lettering across the front of the jersey and the shorts logo to hint at his early work. The colors and patterns are inspired by KAWS’ piece, “TENSION.”
Known for his signature eye-catching abstract paintings and bold color palette, he mixed the Nets signature black, white, and grey to represent the best of the Nets x KAWS.
The waistband logo is XX, KAWS’ signature mark, along with the jock tag being marked as an official part of KAWS’ body of work.
