Grizzlies Injury Update 12/15/16

Pursuant to the previous medical update on James and Chandler, below is updated information on their progress, with additional medical updates on Mike Conley and Deyonta Davis from the Memphis Grizzlies as of Thursday, December 15, 2016.

James Ennis III - On November 22, Ennis was diagnosed with a Grade II calf strain suffered in the Grizzlies victory against the Charlotte Hornets the night before. He actively participated in a rehab program since the injury and progressed as expected. He has now returned to the court to participate in full basketball activities. He is expected to return to game action soon.

Chandler Parsons - On November 19, Parsons was diagnosed with a left knee bone bruise following the Grizzlies victory against the Dallas Mavericks the night before. He actively participated in a rehab program since the injury and progressed as expected. Parsons has returned to the court to participate in full basketball activities.

Mike Conley - On November 29, Conley was diagnosed with transverse process fractures in vertebrae located in his lower back. The injury occurred on November 28 vs. Charlotte in the third quarter when he was kneed in the back by a Hornets player while taking a charge. He actively participated in a rehab program since the injury and has progressed. Conley has returned to the court to participate in full basketball activities.

Deyonta Davis - Davis was diagnosed with torn plantar fascia in his left foot suffered in the fourth quarter of the Grizzlies game in Cleveland on Dec. 13. He will be re-evaluated periodically and is expected to be out 6-8 weeks. Further updates will be provided when available.
