Grizzlies injury updates - 11/29/16

Mike Conley – Conley was diagnosed today with transverse fractures in the vertebrae located in his lower back following last night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. The injury occurred with 8:25 to go in the third quarter when he was kneed in the back by a Charlotte player while taking a charge. The injury is expected to resolve itself with rest. Conley is expected to miss six weeks and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Vince Carter – Carter suffered a right hip flexor strain in last night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. He exited the game with 11:24 remaining in the fourth quarter and did not return. He traveled with the team on the current road trip to Toronto and will be listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Raptors.
