About Biram Faye

• Faye is a 6-foot-9 center who was born in Dakar, Senegal on March 10, 2000. The center started his youth career playing with CB Gran Canaria as a 16-year-old. In his first season with the team, Faye played extremely well and finished the Spanish Cadet Championship with many accolades, including MVP, Finals MVP, top rebounder of the tournament and top scorer in the tournament. He ended his first year with averages of 12.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. Faye’s best game came in the season-opener, when he notched 17 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.

• His second season proved to be more successful than his first, as he again won tournament MVP and finished with averages of 20.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 0.5 steals. After his second season with CB Gran Canaria, Faye signed with Carrefour El Bulevar and became a crucial piece of their team. On the year, the center averaged 11.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 0.7 steals per game. Faye was able to establish himself as a consistent double-double threat in his third season as he ended the year with nine double-doubles. While he had many impressive performances with Carrefour El Bulevar, his best game had to be against CB Menorca where Faye posted 27 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks, an assist and a steal.

• Following his third season playing professionally, Faye joined Acunsa GBC and averaged 3.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.5 blocks and 0.4 steals in roughly nine minutes per game. Faye then moved on to join CB Girona where he became the team’s key sixth man off the bench. The Senegal product displayed his value with CB Girona in a game where he logged 18 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes in a win.
