by Clippers Digital

In their final game of Summer League play, the Clippers fell to the Indiana Pacers, 86-75, Friday night at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

After a slow first half that saw the Clippers down by nine points, Los Angeles fought to bring the game within one point in the third quarter. The Pacers outscored the Clippers by eight points in the last quarter of play to secure the win. Accuracy from three-point range was crucial for the Pacers who shot 36 percent to the Clippers’ 26.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Oshae Brissett led the Clippers with 18 points and seven rebounds. Kaiser Gates added ten points and shot three of six from beyond the arc. Cliff Alexander recorded 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Mfiondu Kabengele, Terance Mann and Amir Coffey, three rookies who signed with the Clippers during Summer League, did not play tonight. Returning Clipper, Jerome Robinson, also sat out the night.

The Pacers had two players finish with double-doubles and score 20 plus points. Alize Johnson had 25 points and 13 rebounds and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell added 24 points and ten rebounds.
