In their final Summer League contest, the Clippers take on the Indiana Pacers Friday, July 12, at 5:30 p.m. PT at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Despite a successful summer campaign in which the Clippers went 3-1 in opening round play, the team fell just short of making the top eight and the playoffs, finishing ninth overall.

In Thursday night’s game, the Clippers defeated the Sacramento Kings, 83-80. Throughout four quarters of play that saw 18 lead changes, the Clippers composure on the last possessions of play allowed them to come out on top. In a game that was decided by three points, free throws played a significant role, with the Clippers converting on 17 of 25 from the line and the Kings only earning 9 trips to the charity stripe. The Clippers defense contributed to the win as well, with Los Angeles forcing 20 Kings turnovers producing 16 points.

Making big plays down the stretch, Amir Coffey tallied 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Mfiondu Kabengele added 15 points, 9 rebounds, and went eight of ten from the free throw line.

David Michineau started his first game of Summer League play. He finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Closing out the opening round of Summer League play, three players on the roster have signed with the Clippers. Both Florida State rookies, Mfiondu Kabengele and Terance Mann have officially signed and Amir Coffey, who went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, signed a two-way contract with the Clippers.
