The NBA announced today that LA Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue has been named Western Conference Coach of the Month for January 2024. This is Lue’s second consecutive Coach of the Month award, making him the first coach in franchise history to win the award in consecutive months.
The Clippers finished the month of January with a 12-3 (.800) record and were a perfect 6-0 at home, one of two NBA teams to remain undefeated on home court this month. For the month of January, the Clippers had the best record in the Western Conference, while ranking first in the NBA in offensive rating (124.6), 3P% (42.3) and FT% (82.8), second in FG% (51.1) and third in plus/minus differential (10.3).
Throughout four seasons, Lue has held a 164–118 (.582) record with the Clippers. This season, the Clippers are currently 31-15 and have won nine of their last 11 games.
