The completion of the two-year transformation of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will be made official with a celebratory “Welcome Home” Grand Opening on Saturday, September 28th with a very special ribbon cutting event, featuring a 216-foot ribbon, followed by a free day-long public open house until 7:00 p.m. Free tickets to the ribbon cutting  and open house are available at  RocketMortgageFieldHouse.com/opening.

The official ribbon cutting will take place outside in front of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse’s stunning new glass atrium, with the festivities beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Dignitaries, entertainers along with a pyro technic show (and more!) will be a part of this special grand opening event that will ring in a new era of sports and entertainment in Cleveland, Ohio.

Joining Cavaliers and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse CEO Len Komoroski on stage will be Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson; Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish; Congresswoman Marcia Fudge; Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage CEO Jay Farner.

“The two-year transformation of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is complete and we can’t wait to open the doors to the community and invite everyone in to see it, experience it, and take pride in it,” said Komoroski.”

Immediately following the ceremony at approximately 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will welcome the community into its new home for a first look inside the modernized venue. The transformation touched virtually every area of the building, bringing the latest in cutting-edge technology and innovative design. The “all-new” Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse features more space, more amenities and more food and beverage options that will bring a new energy, excitement and efficiency to the fan experience like never before.

A Special Memento - Everyone attending the open house will receive a commemorative Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Grand Opening laminated ticket and lanyard.

Prizes All Day - Ahmaad Crump and the Cavs entertainment teams will be giving away great  prizes that include autographed Cavs player jerseys given out each hour; tickets to 2019-20 Cavs and Monsters games, upcoming events like The Black Keys, Jurassic World, Carrie Underwood, WWE and more.
