Cavs Academy, the official youth basketball program of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has announced the dates and locations of their 2023 Basketball Clinics in Ohio. Registration for all Cavs Academy events is open NOW at CavsYouth.com/basketball. Programs are designed by the Cavs Academy coaching staff to engage and empower young athletes, catering to individuals of all skill levels, ages 3-14. There are a number of ways young athletes can get involved in 2023.
Cavs Academy utilizes the game of basketball as a vehicle to impact youth and develop the skills of young athletes. Clinics are open to boys and girls ages 3-14, regardless of current skill level.
Cavs Academy coaches will take participants through two-hour sessions that will include:
- Dynamic stretching and warm-ups to ensure players are prepared for the day’s skills and drills.
- Individual stations to reinforce fundamental skills such as ball handling, defense and agility.
- Individual shooting stations to improve lay-ups, free throws and bank shots.
- 3v3 and 5v5 game play
- Fun shooting competitions
CAVALITTLES CLINICS
Cavalittles Clinics help introduce the game of basketball to our youngest athletes, aged 3-6 years. The program serves as an introduction to the fundamental aspects of basketball through interactive and fun experiences. These hour-long clinics provide young athletes with an ideal opportunity to ignite their love for the sport while teaching coordination, agility, teamwork and camaraderie.

CAVS ACADEMY BASKETBALL CLINICS
Cavs Academy Clinics are designed to deliver a comprehensive basketball experience in as little as 90 minutes. The Cavs Academy coaching staff will take athletes through a series of dynamic warm-ups, skills and drills training, and small-group gameplay. All Clinics are open to all genders and skill levels, ages 7-14.
