Earlier this month, 40 Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter employees set out to honor the late, great Jerome Kersey by participating in a volunteer project clearing Forest Park trails of encroaching vegetation. The staff hiked in and cleared vegetation from .75 miles of trails. Though temperatures were in the upper 90s, the volunteers had a blast through the hard work, and now people can enjoy clear, safer trails in Forest Park.
