Gregg Popovich moves into fourth on all-time wins list

Gregg Popovich continues his rise up the all-time wins list for coaches.

San Antonio Spurs boss Gregg Popovich climbed the coaching wins list on Tuesday, passing Pat Riley for fourth all-time. 

The Spurs handled the Suns 111-86 to give Popovich his 1,211th career victory. The coaching legend now trails Jerry Sloan.

Popovich, who has guided the Spurs to five championships and collected three NBA Coach of the Year awards, has a .686 winning percentage in the regular season and .603 in the playoffs.
