Warriors Take On Ice Bucket Challenge

Established 1946 | 7-time NBA Champions

If you’ve been on the internet at all over the past two weeks or so, chances are you’ve come across what has become known as the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. People across the country and throughout the world have joined in on the campaign, dousing themselves in frigid water in an effort to bring awareness to the debilitating motor neuron disease. There’s also an accompanying donation element, and as of Wednesday the ALS Association has reported receiving $22.9 million in donations as a result of the challenge since it kicked off on July 29. That’s more than ten times the amount they raised in the same period last year. And, the Warriors organization has certainly gotten in on the action.

Owners, front office employees, coaches, and players alike have all joined in on the fun concept, and lucky for us, we have it all on video. Check out the clips below to see some Dubs get drenched.

Whether or not you’ve taken the challenge yourself, you can help the cause by donating to the ALS Association at their official site: https://www.alsa.org/donate/
