Warriors Announce 2013-14 Television Schedule
For Fifth Straight Season Every Regular-Season Game Will Be Televised; 78 On Comcast SportsNet Bay Area

For the fifth consecutive season, every regular-season Golden State Warriors game will be available on television, the team announced today.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the exclusive television home for Warriors games in Northern California, will televise a total of 78 contests (76 regular season, two preseason) during the 2013-14 season, beginning with the team’s first home preseason game against the Sacramento Kings on October 7 (7:30 p.m. PDT) followed by a special live telecast from Shanghai, China, where the Warriors face the Los Angeles Lakers on October 18 (4:30 a.m. PDT, re-airing at 7:30 p.m. PDT). Included on the 78-game HDTV local docket are 71 games on the main channel and seven games on Comcast SportsNet Plus. For the 17th consecutive season, play-by-play announcer Bob Fitzgerald will team with 29-year veteran analyst Jim Barnett to call the action on all Comcast SportsNet Bay Area telecasts.

In addition to live game coverage, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will deliver comprehensive pre-game and post-game analysis anchored by three-time California Sportscaster of the Year Greg Papa and former Warriors general manager and head coach Garry St. Jean. Thirty minutes prior to each game, fans can catch the latest team developments, exclusive interviews, game previews and opposing team analysis on Warriors Pregame Live. Immediately following the game, Warriors Postgame Live will give viewers an in-depth game breakdown with stats and highlights, locker room interviews and a preview of the next game.

In addition to the 78 games that are slated for telecast on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the Warriors are also scheduled to make a franchise record 17 national television appearances, with nine games airing on ESPN (all of which will also be shown on Comcast SportsNet) and eight appearances on TNT’s Thursday night coverage (six exclusively shown on TNT).
