TAKING IT BACK TO THE OLD SCHOOL
Get ready for a whole lot of throwback fun, as the Dubs host the Wizards in a matchup of division leaders on Sunday at an early tipoff time of 5 p.m. The game coincides with 90’s Night, presented by Jamba Juice, and among the festivities are the Dubs sporting their Crossover jerseys as a nod to the team’s Run TMC era of the early 1990’s. Tickets are still available and fans unable to attend the game can watch the action on NBC Sports Bay Area, or listen to the call on 95.7 The Game on the Warriors Radio Network.

LAST TIME OUT
A 12-0 run in the fourth quarter helped lift the Dubs to a 107-98 victory over the Rockets on Friday night on Warriors Ground. A matchup of the two highest scoring teams didn’t feature all of the offense one would suspect, but the Dubs made the baskets when they counted most. Only it wasn’t the usual suspects. Only four points during the game-changing run were scored by starters, and those were by Matt Barnes. The rest were scored by a Warriors reserve unit that can be largely credited for the team extending their win streak to 10 games. Full Recap

DUBS RESERVES DOING WORK
One of the biggest keys to the Dubs’ current 10-game winning streak has been the performance of their bench. The Dubs’ reserves have outscored their opponents in nine straight games, and during that stretch they are shooting 56.7 percent from the field. The leader of the team’s reserve unit is undoubtedly Andre Iguodala. The veteran forward is playing his best ball of the season, scoring in double figures in four straight games, but he isn’t the only one to step up his game in recent weeks. David West, JaVale McGee, Ian Clark, Shaun Livingston and James Michael McAdoo have all had their moments in which they’ve provided the Dubs a tremendous lift. With the playoffs coming up in a few weeks, there isn’t a better time for the reserves to be shaping into form.

WASHINGTON SCOUTING REPORT
For the first time in nearly 40 years, the Wizards have won their division. They are currently tied for third place in the Eastern Conference but have struggled as of late with six losses in their last 11 games. Still, they are a very dangerous team. Their greatest strength is in their backcourt. John Wall has turned in a phenomenal season, averaging 23.3 points and 10.7 assists, which is second in the NBA. Bradley Beal is also a scoring machine, but what makes Washington so special is that, like the Warriors, they can get production from anywhere in their lineup. All five starters average at least 10.8 points, and Washington is one of the top-five scoring teams in the league. Washington has lost 10 of their last 12 games to the Warriors, but one of those two victories did occur last month on the day that Kevin Durant went down with an injury. There’s no question the Dubs would like to even the score with the Wizards as they seek their 11th straight win.
