Professional History

Signed a multiyear contract with the Suns on July 9… In his 14th NBA season and first in his second tenure with Dallas (second overall), averaged 10.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, career-high 1.1 assists and 30.5 minutes in 75 games (all starts)… Shot 66.6 FG% and 72.0 FT%... Marked his third season averaging a double-double while shooting over 60.0 FG%, joining Artis Gilmore (five times) and Wilt Chamberlain (three) as the only players in league history to accomplish this at least three times in their careers… Among NBA leaders, ranked fifth in rebounds per game and 28th in blocks per game… Also ranked among league leaders in several advanced stat categories, ranking first in offensive rating (133.4), second in true shooting percentage (69.7%), sixth in total rebound percentage (20.7%) and seventh in win shares per 48 minutes (.216)… Posted 31 double-doubles (t-14th in NBA)… Had six games with 20+ points (tying 2011-12 for career-high), 40 with 10+ points, three with 20+ rebounds and 50 with 10+ rebounds… In four games against the Suns, had three double-doubles while averaging 14.0 points (61.3 FG%, 78.2 FT%) and 16.5 rebounds… Scored a season-high 22 points (6-8 FG, 10-12 FT) to go with 14 rebounds at Phoenix on Dec. 23… Posted 23 rebounds along with 12 points vs. Phoenix on April 8… Matched his season-high in scoring with 22 points (5-7 FG, 12-15 FT) in addition to 15 rebounds in just 25 minutes in the season finale vs. Portland on April 15… Reeled in a season-high 25 rebounds in addition to scoring 17 points vs. New York on Nov. 26; the 25 rebounds marked the second-most in his career and tied for the fifth-highest in Mavericks history… Also had a 20-rebound game at Milwaukee on Dec. 3, finishing with 18 points and 20 rebounds… Had a season-high five blocks plus a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds vs. Chicago on Jan. 23… Grabbed his 8,000th career rebound in the first quarter at Detroit on Dec. 17, becoming the 68th player in NBA history with at least 8,000 boards… Missed three games to a left hip injury (Feb. 25-March 2), one to back spasms (Dec. 28), one to a left ankle injury (Feb. 11) and two to rest (Jan. 14, April 13)… PLAYOFFS: Started all five of Dallas’ First Round playoff games against in a 4-1 series loss to Houston, averaging 10.2 points and 10.8 rebounds in 32.0 minutes… Posted two double-doubles in the series.
