Full name is Kahlil Ameer Feldr, Jr…named the Detroit Public School’s Learner of the Year in 2013…graduated with a 3.6 GPA from Pershing High School…was on the National Honor Roll and Dean’s List…son of Kahlil Felder Sr. and Tiffany Williams…his father played college basketball at Eastern Michigan (1990-92) and ranks inside the single-season record book with 129 assists in 1991-1992…cousin is former NBA and Michigan State standout Steve Smith.

College History

Played in 101 games in three years at Oakland…averaged 17.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.9 minutes per game…owns the Horizon League’s career assists mark with 788 over his tenure…as a junior in 2015-16, appeared in 35 contests and averaged 24.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 2.0 steals, while shooting .848 from the charity stripe…was the only player in the country to rank in the Top 5 in both scoring (fourth, 24.4 ppg) and assists (first, 9.3 apg) and became just the fifth player in Division I history over the last 20 years to average over 23 points and six assists in a single season…was the Horizon League Player of the Year and Third Team All-American by the AP, NABC and The Sporting News…scored 20 points in all but five games and recorded 10 or more assists 19 times…set a league record for most Player of the Week honors in a single season with seven and posted the only triple-doubles in school history with two this past season…his first-ever triple-double in program history came vs. Detroit on Feb. 14, 2014 with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds...set a career-high with 38 points along with nine assists and six rebounds at Washington and then followed that performance with 37 points and nine assists vs. No. 1 Michigan State…played in 33 games as a sophomore in 2014-15…averaged 18.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 2.0 steals in 38.5 minutes…was the only player in the country to average at least 17.0 points and 7.0 assists…finished No. 2 in the NCAA with 7.6 assists per game…played 12 entire games and finished third nationally in minutes per game (38.5)…poured in a then career-high 37 points vs. Eastern Illinois, adding 11 assists…broke single-game league and school records with 24 free throw attempts vs. Valpo, and his 19 made ranks No. 2 in conference history…as a freshman in 2013-14, played in 33 games with averages of 9.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 32.4 minutes…ranked seventh in the NCAA in assists…the Horizon League Freshman of the Year.
