Appeared in four career games with Minnesota and Philadelphia, logging seven points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. 2017- 18: Appeared in one game with Minnesota, tallying two points and a steal in just four minutes of action. Split his rookie season in the NBA between Minnesota and the G League’s Iowa Wolves. Underwent surgery after the regular season on April 19 to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his left foot. Made his NBA debut 4/1 vs. Utah. Underwent surgery on July 4, 2017 to repair a fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot, causing him to miss the NBA season’s first 23 games before being assigned to Iowa.

BEFORE NBA

Played one season at Creighton after redshirting his freshman year. 2016-17 (Freshman): Led the Big East and ranked second nationally with a field goal percentage of 67.6 for Creighton. Finished second on the team in scoring (12.9) and led Creighton in rebounding (6.2) and blocks (1.4). Logged four games with at least 22 points. Had 72 dunks in 35 games. The Big East Freshman of the Year and a unanimous pick to the Big East’s All-Freshman Team. Named All-Big East Second Team and NABC All-District 5 Second Team. Earned Big East Freshman of the Week honors three times. Enjoyed a 12-game stretch of increased production from 12/20 to 1/31 in which he averaged 16.0 points on 67.2 percent shooting. Helped the Blue Jays to the Big East Tournament final and the NCAA Tournament. 2015-16 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt. Practiced but did not play. Appeared in Creighton’s exhibition game vs. Upper Iowa on 11/6 and recorded seven points and two rebounds in six minutes.

Likes to listen to March Madness by Future pregame. Nickname is OG. Claims Denzel Washington is his celebrity lookalike. Coco Gauff is his favorite tennis player to watch. If he wasn’t playing basketball, he would be a comedian. The best moment of his career was signing his Thunder contract. Enjoys doing basketball camps with kids in the community.
