A three-year letterwinner at Marquette, he played in 106 games (69 starts) for the Golden Eagles and averaged 12.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.7 apg and 1.08 spg … for his career, he shot .508 from the field, .383 from behind the arc and .773 from the line … was a two-time All-Big East Honorable Mention selection … he left Marquette as one of 19 players in school history to post at least 1,000 points (1,277) and 500 rebounds (579) … prior to his arrival at Marquette, he earned NJCAA Honorable Mention All-America honors at Tyler (Texas) Junior College in 2007-08 … he was a first-team all-region selection and he guided the team to its first outright league title in 21 years. 2010-11: During his senior season at Marquette, became the 42nd player in school history to score 1,000 career points when he made his first basket of the night vs. Connecticut (1/25/11) en route to 21 points and 8 rebounds … appeared in 37 games (35 starts) and averaged 15.7 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.43 spg, 34.6 mpg and shot .490 from the field, .383 from 3-point range and .783 from the stripe. 2009-10: Named MU’s Most Improved Player … made 34 appearances (all starts), and posted averages of 14.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.32 spg, 34.3 mpg and shot .530 from the floor, .500 from downtown and .766 from the line. 2008-09: In 35 appearances off of the bench, posted 5.6 ppg and 3.9 rpg in 19.6 mpg and shot .514 from the field and .768 from the free throw line … he also earned MU’s “Super Sub” Award following his first season on campus at Marquette. 2007-08: As a freshman at Tyler Junior College, he averaged 18.1 ppg (third in the league), 7.7 rpg, 3.1 apg and shot .548 from the field and .422 from behind the arc … he helped lead the Apaches to a record of 25-4 and a national ranking of 10th in the country (NJCAA) in 2007-08.
