NEW YORK, Nov. 24 – Detroit’s Chauncey Billups and Minnesota’s Kevin Garnett were today named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, November 17 through Sunday, November 23. Billups led the Pistons to a 3-1 record while averaging 23.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.50 steals per game. Garnett led the Timberwolves to a 3-0 record with averages of 25.3 points, 15.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.00 blocks per game. Here is a closer look at the week for Billups and Garnett:

Chauncey Billups, Detroit Pistons
November 18 vs. L.A. Lakers – Scored 24 points while adding eight assists and four rebounds in a 106-96 win over the visiting Lakers.
November 19 at Memphis – Recorded 33 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals as the Pistons captured a victory at Memphis, 99-92.
November 21 vs. New York – Had 23 points, five rebounds, nine assists and three steals in a 94-85 win over the visiting Knicks.
November 23 vs. New Orleans – Had 12 points, four rebounds and nine assists in a 81-80 loss to the Hornets.

Kevin Garnett, Minnesota Timberwolves
November 18 vs. Denver – Recorded 26 points, eight assists and four blocks in a 89-76 win over the Nuggets.
November 21 at Cleveland – Had 20 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in a 97-83 win over the visiting Cavaliers.
November 22 vs. L.A. Clippers – Scored 30 points while adding 19 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals in a 103-91 win over the Clippers.
