NEW YORK, Mar. 3 -- Washington’s Michael Jordan and Seattle’s Ray Allen were today named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, February 24 through Sunday, March 2.

Jordan led the Wizards to a 3-1 record by averaging 24.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

Allen led the SuperSonics to a 4-0 record by averaging 28.3 points, 7.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game.

February 25 at Indiana: Had 25 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal in five-point road victory over the Pacers. February 24 vs. Detroit: Had 23 points, eight assists, three rebounds and one steal in victory over the Pistons.
February 27 vs. Houston: Had 35 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in two-point overtime victory over the Rockets. February 26 vs. Atlanta: Had 21 points, nine assists, six rebounds and three steals in victory over the Hawks.
March 1 vs. Chicago: Recorded 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in victory over the Bulls. February 28 vs. LA Lakers: Recorded his second career triple-double with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in victory.
March 2 at Miami: Had 21 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal in loss to the Heat. March 1 at LA Clippers: Scored a season-high 40 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists in road victory over the Clippers.
