NEW YORK, Feb. 18 -- New York's Allan Houston and San Antonio's Tim Duncan were named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Tuesday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 16.


Houston averaged 37.0 points, 5.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds and one steal per game in leading the Knicks to a 2-1 record for the week.

Duncan averaged 32.7 points, 15.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists in leading the Spurs to a 3-0 record with all three wins coming in the road.

Feb. 11 vs. Golden State: Tallied 32 points, six assists and two rebounds in a 113-107 loss to the visiting Warriors.   Feb. 11 at Portland: Recorded 36 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, five blocks and a steal in a 116-111 (OT) win over the Trail Blazers.
Feb. 14 at Phoenix: Had 26 points and six assists in a 116-115 win over the Suns as they began a six-game road trip, their longest since 1997.   Feb. 14 at L.A. Lakers: Scored 28 points while adding 20 rebounds, three assists and a block in a 103-95 win over the Lakers in Los Angeles.
Feb. 16 at L.A. Lakers: Recorded a career-high 53 points while adding five assists, four rebounds and two steals in a 117-100 win over the Lakers in Los Angeles.   Feb. 16 at Sacramento: Tallied 34 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists in a 104-101 win that concluded a nine-game road trip in which the Spurs had 8-1 record.
