The Miami Heat’s Lamar Odom
and the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant
were today named Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played during the month of March.
Odom and Bryant no longer share the STAPLES Center, but they share Player of the Month honors.|

Odom averaged 17.4 points on .453 shooting (82-of-181 FGA), 10.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.29 steals over 37.1 minutes per game while leading the Heat to a 12-3 record in March. He scored a season-high 30 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds and handed out 11 assists to lead the Heat to a 102-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
Bryant averaged 25.3 points on .447 shooting (109-of-244 FGA), 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.38 steals over 36.4 minutes per game while leading the Lakers to a 13-3 record in March. Bryant is currently ranked fourth in the NBA in points per game (23.6). He scored 18 points, dished out a season-high 13 assists and added eight rebounds in the Lakers 96-93 victory over the Rockets.

Lamar Odom, Miami HeatMarch 6 vs. Sacramento: Scored a game-high 30 points on .611 shooting (11-of-18 FGA) with 19 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in a 102-96 victory over the Kings.
March 24 at Orlando: Scored 20 points and had a game-high 14 rebounds in a 105-90 victory over the Magic.
March 26 vs. Dallas: Recorded a team-high 26 points and game-high 18 rebounds in a 119-118 victory over the visiting Mavericks.
March 31 at Atlanta: Scored 21 points on .666 shooting (8-of-12 FGA) and added nine rebounds in a 100-97 road victory over the Hawks.
Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles LakersMarch 13 at Chicago: Scored a game-high 35 points on .480 shooting (12-of-25 FGA) with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in a 88-81 victory over Chicago.
March 15 vs. Orlando: Scored a game-high 38 points on .500 shooting (13-of-26 FGA) and dished out four assists and three rebounds in a 113-110 victory over the visiting Magic.
March 24 vs. Sacramento: Recorded a game-high 36 points, six rebounds and six assists in a 115-91 victory over the Kings.
March 26 vs. Minnesota: Scored a game-high 35 points on .619 shooting (17-of-21 FGA), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in a 90-73 victory over the Timberwolves.
