The Chicago Bulls defeated the Sacramento Kings, 107-99, in the NBA 2K24 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Tuesday.

There were six ties and seven lead changes in this game, with Chicago riding a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter to capture the win. The Bulls actually finished the game on a 29-14 spurt and outscored Sacramento 30-20 in the final frame.  The Bulls shot 53 percent from the field and 53 percent from three-point range, while the Kings shot 51 percent from the field and 46 percent from long range. Chicago also outscored Sacramento in points off turnovers, 20-7.

Julian Phillips provided 16 points and four boards, while Henri Drell led the bench with 11 points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Kings (1-2) were led by Jordan Ford, who finished with 25 points and eight assists. Mike Daum led Sacramento’s bench with 22 points and seven boards. Keon Ellis compiled 19 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while Kessler Edwards had nine points and three rebounds.

Both teams return to action Thursday. Sacramento squares off against the Minnesota Timberwolves, while Chicago faces the Cleveland Cavaliers.
