Kelly Oubre Jr. signs reported 1-year deal with 76ers

Kelly Oubre Jr. is reportedly headed to his fifth NBA team after averaging 20.3 points per game with Charlotte last season.

Veteran small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, the team announced Tuesday, inking a reported one-year deal with the team.

Oubre, 27, is coming off a career season in which he averaged 20.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 48 appearances with the Charlotte Hornets. Having previously played for Washington, Phoenix and Golden State, Oubre is averaging 12.8 points per game through eight NBA seasons.

He joins a Sixers squad looking to get over the hump after losing in the Eastern Conference semifinals in each of the past three seasons.
