The Houston Rockets blend the past and present with their 2023-24 City Edition uniforms — honoring the contributions of Hakeem Olajuwan and Clyde Drexler.
The relationship of Olajuwan and Drexler dates back to their college days at the University of Houston. The Dream and Clyde the Glide reunited with the Rockets in H-Town. Their signatures are inscribed on the jock tag.
The jersey design is a mix of classic and modern elements, combining the sleek, contemporary style of today’s NBA uniforms with a retro flair. The jersey prominently features the team’s name in script typeface and the players names and numbers are designed in a bold collegiate style.
Rockets is displayed vertically on the right-side panel of the shorts, while a Rocket Man going for a dunk sits on the left side.
