MEMPHIS, March 8, 2008 -- Kevin Garnett's very successful first season with the Celtics continued when he reached another milestone tonight. In the second game after the Celtics became the first team to secure a playoff berth this season, Garnett scored 17 points to become the 32nd player in NBA history to reach the 20,000-point barrier.

Garnett is one of four active players in the club, joining Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson. Bryant achieved the feat earlier this season.
