Cavs’ Game Plan Will Need Tweaking To Compete
In the AKRON BEACON JOURNAL, Brian Windhorst writes “fortunately for the Cavaliers, it's the NBA Finals, not the Final. Nothing was expected to come easy in Game 1 on Thursday night deep in Texas, but the Cavs will need to put up a better fight to have any chance as the series moves forward. LeBron James scored just 14 points on a woeful 4-of-16 shooting, which indicated just how off his normal production he was as he struggled to find space to operate. Unlike previous games in these playoffs when the opponent has been made to pay for loading up on James, the Spurs escaped the other edge of the sword.”
