The banged-up Toronto Raptors have finally won back-to-back games.

Extending that mini-run could be a challenge given their struggles away from home.

The Raptors will try to avoid the franchise's second 12-game road losing streak on Tuesday night when they face the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Andrea Bargnani (elbow) and Kyle Lowry (triceps) have missed the last three games, but Toronto (6-19) has a chance to win three in a row for the first time since April 1-4.

The Raptors are in that position after Jose Calderon posted his second career triple-double - and second this season - with 18 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds in Sunday's 103-96 victory over Houston.

"I don't know if I'm going to be on the court or not but I want this team to win," said Calderon, who has been starting with Lowry sidelined.

Bargnani is out indefinitely and Lowry is likely to miss at least a few more games, so Calderon should get another chance to play big minutes.

Cleveland was short-handed when it last faced the Raptors, playing without Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao when it visited Canada on April 6. But the Cavaliers avoided a four-game sweep in the season series with an 84-80 victory, snapping the Raptors' longest winning streak of last season.

Toronto posted eight-point victories in both of its visits to Cleveland in 2011-12 - and has won in three consecutive trips since LeBron James left - but the team is winless on the road since Nov. 13 versus Indiana.

Another defeat would send the Raptors to their first 12-game road skid since a franchise-record 14-game slide Jan. 7-March 16, 2011.

While Toronto has shown positive signs on the defensive end, holding its last four opponents to 96 points or fewer, slowing down Irving and rookie Dion Waiters, who is expected to return from an eight-game injury absence, could be a tall task for Calderon and DeMar DeRozan.

Irving, who is playing with a face mask after breaking a bone in his face on Friday against Milwaukee, scored a career-best 41 points in Saturday's 103-102 loss at New York.

The reigning rookie of the year poured in 17 fourth-quarter points, but he passed the ball to Varejao on the team's final play. Varejao missed the second of two free throws with one second remaining, sending Cleveland (5-20) to its third straight defeat.

"There's always temptation there (to shoot), but I have the utmost trust in my teammates and you know Andy made a great play, got to the free throw line and gave ourselves a chance to win," Irving said.

Waiters could give the Cavaliers another scoring option in these late-game situations after missing time with a sprained left ankle, and they need one considering they're 1-7 in games decided by five points or fewer.

"We've been in a lot of close games and we just gotta find a way to win," Waiters, who is averaging 15.2 points, said after Monday's practice.

Cavs coach Byron Scott wouldn't say if Waiters will return to the lineup considering how well C.J. Miles has played in his place. Miles is averaging 22.5 points and has made 17 of 33 from 3-point range since being inserted into the starting lineup four games ago.

Forward Ed Davis has totaled 43 points - second to DeRozan's 44 - with a team-best 26 boards while starting in place of Bargnani the last three games.

Calderon leads Raptors past Cavaliers 113-99

CLEVELAND (AP) Fed up with losing, the Toronto Raptors are finally changing their attitude.

"Sooner or later, you've got to man up and buck up," coach Dwane Casey said after a 113-99 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.

The Raptors bucked up in many ways in winning their third straight game for the first time this season. Jose Calderon scored a season-high 23 points and Toronto won on the road for the second time this season. The Raptors snapped an 11-game skid away from home, winning on the road for the first time since Nov. 13 when they beat Indiana. Toronto is 2-14 away from the Air Canada Centre.

"At some point, you have to play and have some fun," Calderon said. "At the end of the day, it's a team sport. It's about doing it the right way and getting everyone involved - that's what we're doing right now."

Alan Anderson hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 18 points for Toronto. Amir Johnson scored 17 points and DeMar DeRozan added 16. John Lucas III had eight points in the final quarter, including a key four-point play.

Toronto again played without center Andrea Bargnani and guard Kyle Lowry, their second and third leading scorers. Both have missed the last four games. Bargnani has an injured right elbow while Lowry has a torn right triceps.

Cleveland coach Byron Scott knows his team hasn't been doing much right lately. The Cavaliers have dropped 10 of 11.

"When you give up 64 points in the second half and 35 in the fourth quarter, you're not going to win a lot of games," Scott said.

The Cavaliers have lost four straight since beating the Los Angeles Lakers last week. Cleveland dropped a one-point decision to New York on Saturday.

"I'm not trying to make excuses, but when we play the lower-echelon teams we don't come out as we want to," said Kyrie Irving, who led Cleveland with 23 points. "When we're playing against the Lakers and New York, we're in the game. We have to come with a more focused attitude."

Irving was coming off a career-high 41 points against the Knicks. The reigning rookie of the year, currently playing with a broken bone in his jaw, is wearing a protective mask.

Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao, the league's leading rebounder, left the game briefly after injuring his right knee in the first quarter. Playing with a sleeve on his knee, Varejao had 22 points and 10 rebounds in 39 minutes. Scott hopes he will be able to play Wednesday night in Boston.

"I'm still concerned," Scott said. "Even though he played ... we've got a flight, we've got another (game) tomorrow. We'll see how he feels."

Varejao landed awkwardly on his right leg and crumpled to the floor in pain after being fouled late in the first quarter. He limped to the locker room, but returned with 9:04 remaining in the second quarter. The Cavaliers announced he had a bruised knee.

Seconds after returning to the game, Varejao was knocked hard to the floor by Johnson and appeared to land on his tailbone. Johnson was assessed with a flagrant one foul and Varejao stayed in the game.

The Raptors led 78-76 going into the fourth quarter, but used a 17-7 run to open a 12-point lead. John Lucas III's four-point play, two 3-pointers by Anderson and five points by Johnson helped Toronto build its lead.

Anderson began the quarter with a 3-pointer and Lucas followed with a rebound basket. After a Dion Waiters dunk, Lucas hit a 3-pointer, was fouled by Daniel Gibson and made the free throw to put Toronto ahead 87-78.

Johnson then hit two foul shots, converted a three-point play and Anderson hit his second 3-pointer.

The Raptors have won six of their last eight games against the Cavaliers overall, including each of their last four trips to Cleveland.

Waiters returned after missing eight games with a sprained left ankle, scoring eight points in 29 minutes. Irving and Waiters were starting together in the backcourt for only the 11th time this season. Irving missed 11 games with a broken left index finger before returning last week.

Gibson left the game in the fourth quarter with a sprained right ankle. He didn't know if he would play against Boston.

NOTES: Toronto F Landry Fields (elbow) has been cleared to play, but he saw no action Tuesday. Fields hasn't played since Nov. 7 and Casey wants to work him in slowly after missing 20 games. ... Raptors C Jonas Valanciunas, a native of Lithuania, was cheered on by several members of the Cleveland Lithuanian Club. ... Cleveland F Omri Casspi, who missed three games with the stomach flu, was healthy Tuesday, but didn't play. ... The Cavaliers, starting a stretch of four games in five nights, play at Boston on Wednesday.

THE FACTS: Point guard Jose Calderon scored a season-high 23 points and small forward Alan Anderson added 18 points off the bench as the Toronto Raptors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-99 at Quicken Loans Arena. Center Amir Johnson added 17 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Raptors, who snapped an 11-game road losing streak. Point guard Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers with 23 points and seven assists, while center Anderson Varejao collected 22 points and 10 rebounds. Toronto has won three games in a row for the first time since April 1-4, 2012.

THE STAT: Led by Anderson and Johnson, Toronto's five bench players outscored the Cavaliers' reserves 59-21. Point guard John Lucas III had 11 points and five assists, power forward Linas Kleiza scored 10 points, and shooting guard Terrence Ross chipped in three points. "We had good chemistry and a good pace, so we wanted to keep it going," Lucas said. "In my case, (Alan) had the hot hand, so I just wanted to milk him." In the fourth quarter, Anderson, Kleiza, Johnson and Lucas combined for 33 of the Raptors' 35 points, while Cleveland's entire team scored 23.

TURNING POINT: After the Cavaliers pulled within 83-78 with 10:30 remaining, Lucas converted a rare four-point play to start Toronto's game-clinching run. The Raptors outscored Cleveland 21-11 over the next 5 1/2 minutes -- with Johnson leading the way with eight points and Lucas adding six. "We're out there having fun and playing hard," said Johnson, who made 6-of-7 field goals and 5-of-5 free throws in 29 strong minutes. "At the defensive end, everything was clicking, as well. It was a great effort by our whole team."

QUOTABLE II: "We've lost 19 games, so another loss wouldn't have meant much, but we know we can do much better. At the end of the day, basketball is a team sport. It's about doing it the right way and getting everyone involved."

HOT: The Raptors are 4-0 in Cleveland since LeBron James left the Cavaliers in July 2010. ... Anderson was 5-for-7 on 3-pointers, including 3-for-3 in the fourth quarter. ... Toronto shot 52 percent from the floor, while Cleveland made 51.4 percent of its field goal attempts. ... Varejao set career highs in free throws made (12) and attempted (16) despite suffering a bruised right knee late in the first quarter. The mop-topped Brazilian is in his ninth NBA season, all of them with the Cavaliers. Varejao also posted his Eastern Conference-high 16th double-double.

NOT: The Cavaliers have lost four straight games, making them 3-19 since Nov. 7. ... Cleveland power forward Luke Walton played four minutes, committing three fouls without a point or rebound. ... Cavaliers small forward Omri Casspi returned after missing three games with the stomach flu, but did not play. ... Cleveland point guard Jeremy Pargo, who has started 11 games, was a healthy inactive. ... GOOD MOVE: Casey encouraged Calderon to be more aggressive looking to score, which the Spaniard did against Irving. Calderon made 10 of 15 shots from the field, going 3-for-6 on 3-pointers, and repeatedly burned the Cavaliers when they were late on switches. "Jose's heart is always in the right place, running the show and helping his teammates, which is why I love him," Casey said. "But he's also one of our best shooters, so when he comes off a screen, I want him to be greedy."

BAD MOVE: Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters (left ankle sprain) was completely out of sync in his first game since Dec. 1 against Portland. The fourth overall pick in the NBA Draft had eight points, four assists, three turnovers and four fouls in 28 minutes. "Shots that I usually hit weren't going down, so I tried to impact the game by just driving," said Waiters, who was 4-for-13 from the field. "It was just good to get back out there and get back up and down the court."

NOTABLE: Cavaliers coach Byron Scott said he was "still concerned" about Varejao's health, even though he returned to the court shortly after landing hard on his right knee. "Even though he played, we've got a flight, we've got another game tomorrow," Scott said. "We'll see how he feels." ... Cleveland shooting guard Daniel "Boobie" Gibson sprained his right ankle in the fourth quarter and said he was unsure if he would play Saturday in Boston. ... Irving, power forward Tristan Thompson and center Tyler Zeller continue to play with protective masks to protect their facial fractures for the Cavaliers. ... Raptors small forward Landry Fields (right elbow surgery) was active for the first time since Nov. 7 at Dallas, but did not play for the 21st game in a row. Casey said he plans on "working him in slowly." ... Toronto played without center Andrea Bargnani (right elbow ligament tear, right wrist strain) and point guard Kyle Lowry (right triceps tear).
