Crawford scored a season-high 37 points, including a pull-up jumper with 6.4 seconds remaining, as the Knicks ended a nine-game losing skid with a 96-94 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, who had nine-game winning streak snapped.

Cavaliers-Knicks: Play |
After Crawford's jumper snapped a 94-94 tie, the Cavaliers went for the win. LeBron James drove the lane and passed to the corner, where Larry Hughes missed a 3-pointer as time expired.
"I found the open spot and I got a good look," said Hughes, who was playing his second game since returning from a right finger fracture that cost him 45 contests. "I kind of rushed it a little bit but I had a good look."
Crawford made 13-of-24 shots in 45 minutes. His final shot may have been his toughest.
"He made a tough shot," Hughes said. "I was right there on him. There was nothing more I could do. He took the shot falling down. I'm not sure he got a good look but he was making shots. He had contested shots all night but he was making them."
James scored 21 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter for Cleveland (45-30), which had its season-high nine-game winning streak stopped. It was the eighth straight game that James scored at least 35 points.
James hit 7-of-10 shots in the fourth quarter, including three 3-pointers in a 42-second span that cut the Cavs' deficit to 80-71 with 7:14 remaining. He also got to the line repeatedly, but made just 4-of-9 attempts in the period.
"It was time to make a move or get blown out," James said. "I was trying to put the pressure on their defense. If they play like they played tonight, they'd be a much better team."
"James made some unbelievable plays, especially in the fourth quarter," Knicks coach Larry Brown said. "We gave them life, but we hung on."
Drew Gooden added 19 points and Ronald Murray 18 for the Cavs, who lead fifth-place Washington by 5 1/2 games in the Eastern Conference.
"We match up pretty good against them with the exception of LeBron," Crawford said. "Nobody matches up well with him. We took their best punch and won the game."
