DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks try to remain
undefeated and keep the Memphis Grizzlies winless when they
match up Saturday at the American Airlines Center.
The Mavericks opened their season with a 107-98 home triumph
over Sacramento on Tuesday and followed it up with a 106-91
victory at New Orleans a day later.
Michael Finley, Dirk Nowitzki and reserve Jerry Stackhouse each
had 19 points against the Hornets as the Mavericks shot 54
percent (42-of-78), including 9-of-19 from the 3-point arc.
The Grizzlies, who easily set a franchise record with 50 wins
last season, have started their campaign with back-to-back home
losses to Washington and Houston.
On Friday, Memphis suffered an 89-81 defeat after shooting just
35 percent (26-of-74).
Pau Gasol paced the Grizzlies with 21 points but he had 14 in
the fourth quarter with the result not in doubt.

winning both home games.
