Fizer made 9-of-16 shots for 21 points as the Bulls beat the Lakers in Los Angeles for the first time since February 2, 1996 and won just their third road game in 25 tries this season.

Rather than help the Lakers avenge their 106-104 overtime defeat, O'Neal chose to rest his aching feet in the Lakers' final contest before the break. The superstar center is scheduled to start in Sunday's All-Star Game but could sit out that game as well.
The Lakers never led in the second half. After Fizer scored on a three-point play with 5:24 left, the Bulls held their biggest advantage at 81-72. Los Angeles recorded the next eight points but could never get over the hump.
With Chicago ahead, 85-82, Ron Artest blocked a shot by Bryant with 29 seconds left, grabbed the ball and sank 1-of-2 free throws. After Bryant shot an airball on a 3-pointer with 23 seconds left, Kevin Ollie hit a pair at the line to give the Bulls a six-point lead with 18 seconds remaining.
Braynt was 14-of-26 for 38 points and eight rebounds but also had a season-high eight turnovers. Stanislav Medvedenko scored 11 points but was the only other player to reach double figures for Los Angeles, which had a four-game winning streak snapped.
Ollie scored 15 points, Artest chipped in 13 and Miller had 12 and nine rebounds for Chicago, which concluded a 2-3 road trip and swept the Lakers for the first time since the 1995-96 campaign.
