PORTLAND, Ore, Jan. 22 (Ticker) -- When his Portland Trail Blazer teammates went cold, Bonzi Wells heated up.

Wells scored eight of his career-high 34 points in overtime as the Trail Blazers posted a 116-110 triumph over the Sacramento Kings, who had their season-high 12-game winning streak snapped.

The Trail Blazers forgot to look for Wells when they went without a field goal over the final four minutes of the fourth quarter, but the third-year guard took over in overtime. Wells ignited a 10-0 run that turned a three-point deficit into a 112-105 lead with 31.5 seconds left.

Wells also pulled down 12 rebounds while Rasheed Wallace had 33 points and 15 rebounds and Dale Davis contributed 17 and 12 for Portland, which has won eight of its last 10 games.

Chris Webber had 34 points, eight rebounds and eight assists but the Kings endured their first loss since a 101-85 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers on December 22. Sacramento, which had won both previous meetings with the Trail Blazers this season and three in a row in the series, have just three wins in Portland since 1985.
