NBA projection
Antetokounmpo's physical profile and ball skills put his potential off the charts. But it's still just potential. He'll need several years of top Euro-level competition to get him ready for the rigors of the NBA. Based on his potential he'll likely be selected by the 20th pick in the first round.

2012-2013 Season
His development continued well this season. He looked more comfortable towards the end of the year coming up with a 23-point game and a 19-point, 9-rebound game. His production was very good for the amount of playing time he received, although the level of play in the Greek "2" league is very low. Antetokounmpo has signed a four year contract with Zaragoza of the Spanish ACB League. That will be an excellent place for him to gain his experience. He has reasonable buyouts after each year.

Key statistics
9.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.6 tpg, 22.2 mpg, .621 2PT, .313 3PT, .720 FT

Cool statistic
In back-to-back games, Antetokounmpo scored 41 points on 14-for-18 two-point shooting and made all seven of his free throws.

What Insiders Say
Aran Smith, NBADraft.net
"Recently got his Nigerian passport but his ability to work out for teams has been limited by this issue. He is the true International man of mystery, as teams have limited exposure with him and the level of competition that he played at this season is comparable to Division II or III in college. He's a long, athletic forward who was used as a point at times for his team. A team will have to be patient with him as he's a raw 19-year-old, sort of like drafting a high school phenom, and he still has a lot of work to do on shooting consistency."

Os Davis, BallinEurope.com
"Despite playing only in second-division ball in Greece and Spain, Antetokounmpo has been receiving scouts’ attention for years thanks to his intriguing physique. He’s officially listed at 6-foot-9 and 196 pounds with a 7-3 wingspan and incredibly huge hands. His abilities as a passer and ball-handler have allowed him to play the 1, 2, and 3 spots; with some development, the sky is the limit for this promising athlete."

Giovanni Conte, Basket Caffe
"A European rising star; a Greek long point forward. He has some unbelievable body skills: he is 6 ft 9½ with long arms, great coordination, perfect balance and impressive fluidity, that allows him to play all positions except center. His ball handling is simply amazing for a guy of this size, and also the court vision: he has all the characteristics of a point guard. He is skinny, but virtually unstoppable when he drives to the basket, with both hands. He is a high risk, he has no experience at a high level, lacks a specific role and his shot is not very reliable."
