Strengths:
* Intense competitor
* 7-foot-4 wingspan
* Inside-outside scorer
* Good basketball savvy
* Has range to 3-point line
* Good passer
Weaknesses:
* Needs to add weight and get stronger
* Game still maturing
* Needs to be more solid on left-hand dribble
NBA projection:
Miller should be taken somewhere in the teens in the first round. He’s capable of playing either forward spot, but if he gets stronger, he could easily become a four man who presents matchup problems because of his athleticism.
2011-12 Season:
Miller was chosen the Big 12’s co-freshman of the year (along with Oklahoma State’s Le’Bryan Nash) and also made the league’s all-rookie team.
Key statistics:
10.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.8 tpg, 0.7 spg, 0.6 bpg, 24.4 mpg, .447 FG, .348 3PT, .816 FT
Cool statistic:
Miller handed out six assists in a game three times in his freshman season, against UT-Arlington, Northwestern and Iowa State.

What Insiders Say:
Baylor senior Quincy Acy
“Coming in he had a lot of hype. I mean, he's a freshman, and you've got to let him know it's not as easy as high school. He quickly realized that, and he's been working harder than any freshman I've ever seen.
“He's so important to our team, just in so many different ways. He's a 6-10 3 man, and it's a matchup problem, either in the post, or if you put a big person on him, going out to the perimeter. He just provides so much for our team, and he's unselfish."
Baylor assistant coach Jerome Tang
“He’s probably more of a four than a three. As he gets stronger, that’s become more evident. He’s a real mismatch nightmare."
What Outsiders Say
Kentucky coach John Calipari
“He's one of those guys. You look for long, athletic, skilled players. That's what he is."
