Trail Blazers Assign Tim Quarterman to D-League's Long Island Nets

PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 21, 2017) – The Portland Trail Blazers have assigned rookie guard Tim Quarterman to the Long Island Nets of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey.

In 13 games with the Trail Blazers this season, Quarterman (6-6, 190) is averaging 1.5 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 3.4 minutes.

This is the third D-League assignment of the season for Quarterman, who served two separate stints with the Windy City Bulls on Jan. 12 and Jan. 29.

In nine games (seven starts) with Windy City, Quarterman averaged 9.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 7.2 assists.

The Trail Blazers signed Quarterman, undrafted out of LSU, on July 25, 2016.
