Playoff Fate Sealed, Blazers Welcome Spurs for Penultimate Home Game of 2016-17

With help from Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder's last-second win over the Denver Nuggets Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers (40-40) clinched the eight seed in the Western Conference ahead of Monday's matchup with the San Antonio Spurs (61-19) at Moda Center. Portland is 1-2 versus the Spurs this season, having won 110-96 in a visit to San Antonio on March 15. 

Guards Damian Lillard (right foot strain), CJ McCollum (right hand strain) and Allen Crabbe (left foot) join big men Jusuf Nurkić right leg) and Ed Davis (left shoulder) on Portland's injured list and will sit Monday evening. Forward Maurice Harkless' 10 points per game leads the remaining Blazers, while Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard average nine and 5.2 points per game, respectively. 

The Spurs visit Portland following a 98-87 loss to the LA Clippers on Saturday. Most Valuable Player candidate Kawhi Leonard leads San Antonio with 25.8 points per game.
